The rainbow name or ancient name vibrates with a certain frequency which better describes a person's eternal self: the soul or spirit, which does not die when the body expires. Sound has a specific vibration so the way a name is formed means it is said in a specific way, bringing about that vibration. This can have many benefits: it can be used for healing, to help in hypnosis (to remember past incarnations), for meditation, and other uses. To find the name, one can use magic, or deep meditation, but many times it is given to you by someone else. Someone who is sub-consciously connected and can see within you. That is how I obtained mine, Ananandha. Many times the name is close to your own (or completely different) but sometimes parents can tune into the energy without even knowing it, when they are picking out the name. A lot is still unknown. Hope this clears up more than it confuses!
